Responding on Twitter to a fan questioning the whereabouts to the record, Cardi confirmed a 2021 arrival for the as yet untitled set:
This tallies with the sentiments the rapper expressed during the radio run for ‘WAP.’
For, she stressed a preference to release the follow-up to breakthrough effort ‘Invasion of Privacy’ when she can promote in person. Something that obviously isn’t the case at the moment.
And while one could argue that it’s important to strike while the iron is hot, Cardi is likely to have the masses eating out of her palm whenever she decides to drop. Plus, with ‘WAP’ still smashing, there really isn’t a need to rush…much.
